Carolina Voices' volunteers sing to enrich, educate and unite. We strive to be a catalyst for collaboration to unite diverse communities through song.
Founded as the Charlotte Choral Society in 1953 and renamed in 2000, Carolina Voices has been giving voice to the human experience for more than 69 years. Known first and foremost for The Singing Christmas Tree, Carolina Voices has grown from modest beginnings into a choral arts organization embracing three vocal ensembles and performing a variety of music that is unequaled in the Charlotte community.
During each season, Carolina Voices' produce concerts, workshops, educational opportunities and special events which touch thousands of adults and children in the diverse Charlotte Metrolina area. What really sets Carolina Voices apart is the extraordinary spirit of its volunteer singers who provide their talent, time and energy to share their passion for song with others.
With a rich legacy – and even more exciting vision for the future – Carolina Voices is proud to provide a dynamic resource for those in the greater Charlotte area who wish to sing, as well as for those who enjoy listening.
Auditions for our adult choirs are held twice a year; in Summer & Winter.
