Peter Leo

Serving Carolina Voices since 2011, Dr. Leo is thrilled to lead this artistic & administrative team, as well as this phenomenal community of singers to unite, educate and enrich our community through song. Dr. Leo is a native to Wheaton, IL and earned his Bachelors in Music Education from Illinois Wesleyan University (David Nott), Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Southern California (William Dehning) and Doctor of Education from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Leo is a performer in his own right, singing professionally in Charlotte, Chicago, Los Angeles, and London and performing and directing musical theatre throughout his career. He currently teaches as adjunct faculty at Central Piedmont Community College.
